Why does PassFit need camera access?
The whole product runs on pose detection. The camera reads where your body is in space; the app counts the rep when the cycle closes. The camera image is processed in memory on your phone and discarded — it is never written to disk and never uploaded.
A rep didn't count. What happened?
PassFit counts only complete cycles: top → eccentric → bottom → concentric → back to top. Half-reps and partial reps die in the gate on purpose. If reps are consistently missing, try repositioning so your full body is in frame and lighting is even — the framing coach overlay will help. If a clean rep still isn't counted, email a short note to hello@passfit.win and we will look into it for the next signature update.
How do I add a friend?
Every account has a 4-character share code (PASSFIT-XXXX). Tap into Social, paste a friend's code, send the request. They accept on their device. No phone-number scraping, no contacts upload.
How do I block or report someone?
Long-press any user-visible profile to open the context menu, then tap Block or Report. Blocked users are filtered from your friend graph immediately.
How do I delete my account?
Profile → Delete account. This cascades across your profile, friendships, sent and received gifts, challenges, and block/report records, then signs you out. The action cannot be undone.
How do I turn off iCloud sync?
Profile → Privacy & data → Sync workout history to iCloud. Turning it off stops future sync immediately. Local workout history on your device is unaffected.
How do I opt out of pose-data donation?
The setting is off by default. If you previously turned it on, go to Profile → Privacy & data → Donate pose data for research and switch it off. To remove specific donations from the research dataset, email privacy@passfit.win.
What devices does PassFit support?
iPhone 12 or later, running iOS 17 or later. The app is portrait-only and requires a working rear camera.
